Russia And Turkmenistan Will Organize A Direct Railway Ferry Communication

The Prime Minister of Russia Vladimir Putin gave instructions to the Ministry of Transportation to conduct talks with Turkmenistan for the purpose of signing of an agreement between the Governments of the two countries to organize a direct railway ferry communication.

The Head of the Government gave an order to "approve the draft agreement between the government of the Russian Federation and the government of Turkmenistan to organize a direct international railway ferry communication through the ports of the Astrakhan water transport junction, Makhachkala (Russian Federation) and Turkmenbasy (Turkmenistan) presented by the Ministry of Transportation of Russia and agreed with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia and other interested federal bodies of executive power and previously worked out with the Turkmenistan party.
