Stantsiya Ekibastuzskaya GRES-2 (Kazakhstan) Joint Stock Company Chairman of the Board Anatoly Gerasimenko informed that Ekibastuz power plants managers had addressed to Akim of Pavlodarskaya oblast with a request to render assistance in electric power marketing area expansion to the territory of the Russian border areas. “The border is quite near, so we have no problem here. But (on the neighboring territory of the Russian Federation) they are short of it, while we have plenty of it,” he said.
As is noted by the director general of Ekibastuzskaya GRES-1 company Viktor Razumov, plants of the Pavlodarskaya oblast are not working now at full capacity, two power units are standing ready for use. Akim of Pavlodarskaya oblast Bakytjan Sagintayev has promised to examine the situation, negotiate with governors of the Russian regions, and in case of need to raise the question at the national level. |
