Over 600 Journalists to Cover the SCO Summit

A meeting of the Council of the Heads of the SCO member states that will be held in Yekaterinburg on June 15-16, 2009, will be covered by 657 journalists. So many MSM representatives were accredited for the coverage of the event. Besides journalists from Russia, their colleagues from Kazakhstan, China, Kirghizia, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Iran will work at the summit. Journalists of the known MSM, such as Reuters, ABC News, BBC News, CBC, the Russia Today TV channel, Associated Press Television News will come to the Uralian capital. Together with the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, his personal camera operator and photographer will also arrive in Yekaterinburg. Lists of accredited journalists are published on the official site of the RF presidency of SCO.
